Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi peserta didik, karena pada dasarnya mempelajari matematika sama dengan mempelajari konsep. Berdasarkan pra penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terlihat bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik MIN 4 Bandar Lampung belum semuanya mencapai KKTP. Peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran Collaborative Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan Quasi Eksperimental Design. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pretest dan posttest with non-equivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IIA dan IIB MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes yang berbentuk pilihan ganda dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Independen Sampel T-Test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 dan N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pengolahan data nilai menggunakan SPSS 23, diperoleh hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed), 0,012 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis idependen sampel t-test tersebut, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, dan uji N-Gain score kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,7925 atau 73% masuk dalam kategori cukup efektif, sehingga hasil uji t dan N-Gain tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran Collaborative Learning berbantuan alat peraga terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan cukup efektif. Based on the pre-research that has been conducted, it is seen that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at MIN 4 Bandar Lampung has not all reached the KKTP. Researchers are interested in implementing learning methods that can improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The study aims to determine the effect of the Collaborative Learning method on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. This study is a quantitative experimental study with Quasi Experimental Design. This type of research uses pretest and posttest with non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were students of class IIA and IIB MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, multiple choice tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance level of 0.05 and N-Gain. Based on the results of the analysis of data processing using SPSS 23, the sig. (2-tailed) value was obtained, 0.012 is smaller than 0.05. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test hypothesis test, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, and the N-Gain score test of the experimental class of 73.7925 or 73% is included in the fairly effective category, so that the results of the t-test and N-Gain can be stated that there is an influence of the Collaborative Learning learning method assisted by teaching aids on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and is quite effective.
