Abstract
ABSTRAK FoMO adalah emosi yang digunakan untuk mengkarakterisasi kekhawatiran konsumen tentang kehilangan peluang atau pengalaman yang dimiliki orang lain, dapat merangsang perilaku konsumsi dengan meningkatkan pengamatan terhadap orang lain. Brand Awareness merupakan ukuran kekuatan eksistensi suatu merek dibenak pelanggan. Sehingga mempengaruhi seseorang untuk melakukan pembelian secara impulsif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian dengan rumusan masalah mengenai pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) terhadap Impulsive Buying, pengaruh Brand Awareness terhadap Impulsive Buying, serta pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Brand Awareness terhadap Impulsive Buying. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui pengaruh pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Brand Awareness terhadap Impulsive Buying. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengguna aplikasi TikTok di Kota Bandar Lampung, sedangkan sample penelitian diambil menggunakan rumus Lemeshow dimana sample pada penellitian ini tidak diketahui jumlah pastinya. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) terhadap Impulsive Buying menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan, pengaruh Brand Awareness terhadap Impulsive Buying menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan, serta pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Brand Awareness terhadap Impulsive Buying menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Sehingga semakin tinggi seseorang melakukan perilaku FoMO dan tau akan kesadaran merek (brand awareness) maka akan mempengaruhi pembelian secara impulsif (impulsive buying). Kata Kunci : Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), Brand Awareness, Impulsive Buying. ABSTRACT FoMO is an emotion used to characterize consumers' concerns about missing out on opportunities or experiences that others have, which can stimulate consumption behavior by increasing observation of others. Brand Awareness is a measure of the strength of a brand's existence in the minds of customers. Thus, it influences someone to make impulsive purchases. Based on this, the research addresses the issues regarding the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) on Impulsive Buying, the influence of Brand Awareness on Impulsive Buying, and the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Brand Awareness on Impulsive Buying. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Brand Awareness on Impulsive Buying. This research method is quantitative. The population of this study is all users of the TikTok application in the city of Bandar Lampung, while the sample is taken using the Lemeshow formula where the exact number of samples in this study is unknown. The results of this study indicate that the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) on Impulsive Buying shows a positive and significant effect, the influence of Brand Awareness on Impulsive Buying shows a positive and significant effect, and the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Brand Awareness on Impulsive Buying shows a positive and significant effect. Thus, the higher someone exhibits FoMO behavior and is aware of brand awareness, the more it will influence impulsive buying. Keywords : Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), Brand Awareness, Impulsive Buying.
