Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan yaitu rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Permasalahan tersebut peneliti ketahui berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti di SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan. Pada saat proses pembelajaran Matematika peserta didik kurang terlibat aktif dalam memahami konsep-konsep yang dipelajari dan masih kurang optimalnya variasi dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik masih rendah, maka dari itu inovasi pembelajaran diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Berbantuan Aplikasi Quizizz Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematika di Kelas IV SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Quasy Experiment dengan desain penelitian Only Posttest Control Group Design, sehingga akan diberikan instrumen posttest kepada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas diantaranya kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas IV A dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas IV B. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, tes uraian, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, maka hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-T (Independent Sampels T-Test) sesuai dengan keputusan teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan taraf signifikasi 5% (0,05) pada nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,000< 0,05) maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dengan keterangan bahwa terdapat pengaruh ii model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika di kelas IV SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran STAD, Pemahaman Konsep, Matematika iii ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problems that researchers found at SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan, namely the low ability of students' conceptual understanding in learning Mathematics. The researcher found out about this problem based on the results of pre-research conducted by researchers at SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan. During the Mathematics learning process, students were less actively involved in understanding the concepts being studied and the variation in the use of learning models was still less than optimal, resulting in students' conceptual understanding still being low, therefore learning innovations are needed to improve students' conceptual understanding in mathematics subjects. This study aims to see the Effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Learning Model Assisted by the Quizizz Application on the Understanding of Mathematical Concepts in Grade IV of SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan. This research is a quantitative research with a population of all fourth grade students at SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan, this type of research uses Quasy Experiment with Only Posttest Control Group Design research design, so that posttest instruments will be given to the control and experimental classes. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Purwodadi Simpang Lampung Selatan with a sampling technique, namely the simple random sampling technique. The sample of this study consisted of two class groups including the experimental class, namely class IV A and the control class, namely class IV B. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, descriptive tests, and documentation. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the results of the study based on the results of the T-test calculation (Independent Samples T-Test) are in accordance with the decision of the data analysis technique used in this study with a significance level of 5% (0.05) at a sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.05) then it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with the statement that there is an influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by the Quizizz application on the understanding of mathematical concepts in class IV of Purwodadi Elementary School, Simpang, South Lampung.
