Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan di MIN 6 Bandar Lampung, diketahui bahwa dalam pembelajaran Matematika guru belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan inovatif. Kegiatan latihan soal tidak dilaksanakan secara konsisten, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya kekeliruan siswa dalam mengurutkan, membandingkan, serta menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran yang mendorong keaktifan siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan adalah Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media Nearpod. Model ini menekankan pada latihan terstruktur dan berulang untuk memperkuat pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media Nearpod terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik kelas V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling, yaitu kelas VD sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian, dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas sebagai prasyarat, dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent t-test. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil analisis uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa kedua kelas sampel normal dan homogen sehingga untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent t-test (uji-t) dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,05), yakni diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 yang menyatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik kelas V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Practice activities are not carried out consistently, so it has an impact on students' low understanding of mathematical concepts. This can be seen from the many mistakes students make in sorting, comparing, and completing fraction counting operations. Therefore, learning innovations are needed that encourage student activity. One of the learning models that can be applied is the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) with the help of Nearpod media. This model emphasizes structured and repetitive exercises to reinforce understanding of concepts. This study aims to determine the influence of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model assisted by Nearpod media on the understanding of mathematical concepts of students in class V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. This type of research is a quantitative research with the Quasi Experimental Design method using a Posttest-Only Control Design. The research population is all students of class V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. The samples were randomly selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, namely the VD class as the experimental class and the VB as the control class. The data collection technique used a description test, with normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisites, and hypothesis testing using Independent t-test. Based on the data processing of the normality and homogeneity test analysis, it was obtained that both sample classes were normal and homogeneous so that for hypothesis testing using Independent t-test (t-test) with a significant level of 5% (0.05), namely 0.000 < 0.05 which stated that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the understanding of mathematical concepts of students in class V MIN 6 Bandar Lampung.
