Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesuksesan lembaga pendidikan harus ditopang bersama oleh seluruh pihak, baik keluarga, sekolah maupun masyarakat. Ketiga komponen ini harus saling bersinergi secara padu, sehingga bisa menghasilkan outcame pendidikan yang berkualitas. Untuk itu, sekolah diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hubungan dengan keluarga, atau wali murid, serta masyarakat pada umumnya untuk diajak bekerja sama dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan implementasi hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat serta untuk mengetahui kendala apa saja yang di hadapi di SMP IT Bustanul Ulum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, sedangkan bentuknya penelitian lapangan, dengan mengambil lokasi di SMP IT Bustanul Ulum. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk proses analisis data digunakan analisis model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu analisis model interaktif dengan langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, verifikasi data dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian ini bila diukur berdasarkan indikator Humas menunjukkan; pertama, terkait dengan hubungan edukatif yang dijalin dengan terbentuknya komite sekolah. Sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan pertemuan atau rapat dilakukan pada saat bagi raport, dan kegiatan yang lain. jadi belum pada tahap yang intensif. Kedua, hubungan kerja sama sekolah dengan Instansi seperti BNN, Kepolisian, Puskesmas dan Kecamatan sudah terjalin dengan baik. Namun, belum sepenuhnya dilakukan. Ketiga, apa yang menjadi kendala dalam implementasi Humas diketahui disebabkan oleh dua faktor yakni faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Yang pertama faktor internal, diketahui bahwa belum adanya tenaga khusus yang mengatur tentang hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat secara rutin dan detail. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya diketahui bahwa pihak sekolah tidak turun langsung ke rumah peserta didik guna memberikan perhatian lebih kepada peserta didik. Serta, pihak wali murid secara serta-merta menyerahkan proses pendidikan anak mereka di sekolah saja. For this reason, schools are expected to be able to improve relationships with families, or guardians of students, as well as the community in general to be invited to work together in realizing good management of the implementation of school relations with the community. This research aims to describe how the school's relationship with the community is implemented and to find out what obstacles are faced at Bustanul Ulum IT Middle School. This type of research is qualitative research, while the form is field research, taking place at Bustanul Ulum IT Middle School. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, for the data analysis process, Miles and Huberman model analysis was used, namely interactive model analysis with the steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, data verification and data interpretation. The results of this research, when measured based on Public Relations indicators, show; First, related to the educational relationship established by the formation of the school committee. It has been carried out well and meetings are held during report cards and other activities. so it's not at an intensive stage yet. Second, the school's collaborative relationship with agencies such as BNN, Police, Community Health Centers and Districts has been well established. However, it has not been fully implemented. Third, what is an obstacle in the implementation of Public Relations is known to be caused by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The first is an internal factor, it is known that there is no special staff who regulates school relations with the community on a regular and detailed basis. Meanwhile, it is known that the external factor is that the school does not go directly to the students' homes to provide more attention to the students.
