Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada abad ke-21, pembelajaran tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan materi, tetapi juga pada pengembangan soft skills seperti kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Namun, kemampuan ini masih tergolong rendah akibat pembelajaran yang cenderung didominasi oleh guru. Salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut adalah melalui pendekatan heutagogi creative yang menekankan kemandirian dan kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan heutagogi creative terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis kuasi-eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu X.I sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan heutagogi creative dan X.A sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan pendekatan teacher cenered, masing-masing berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian telah melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan tingkat kesukaran. Uji prasyarat analisis menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test menunjukkan signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan. Uji N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan heutagogi creative berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi ekosistem. Kata kunci: Pendekatan Heutagogi Creative, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif iii ABSTRACT In the 21st century, education not only focuses on content mastery but also on developing soft skills, particularly creative thinking. However, students' creative thinking abilities remain relatively low due to teacher-centered learning practices. One solution to address this issue is the heutagogi creative approach, which emphasizes learner autonomy and creativity. This study aims to analyze the effect of the heutagogi creative approach on the creative thinking skills of Grade X students in the ecosystem topic. A quantitative method was used, employing a quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling, consisting of two classes: X.I as the experimental group (taught using the heutagogi creative approach) and X.A as the control group (taught using a teacher-centered approach), each with 34 students. The research instruments passed validity, reliability, discrimination index, and difficulty level tests. Prerequisite analysis confirmed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference. N-Gain analysis revealed greater improvement in creative thinking skills in the experimental group than in the control group. It can be concluded that the heutagogi creative approach has a positive effect on enhancing students’ creative thinking skills in learning ecosystem concepts.
