Abstract

ABSTRAK Berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting bagi peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21, karena kemampuan ini membantu peserta didik menganalisis informasi secara mendalam, mengambil keputusan yang tepat, serta menemukan solusi kreatif terhadap berbagai permasalahan di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran STEM berbantu media one sided view 3D hologram terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode Quasy Experiment dengan design penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling dan didapatkan kelas X.B sebanyak 36 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan diterapkannya pembelajaran STEM dan kelas X.E sebanyak 36 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol dengan diterapkan Problem Based Learning. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa soal tes essay dan lembar observasi peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov smirnov dan uji homogenitas dengan menggunakan uji independent sample T Test diperoleh data dari keduanya yaitu normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < α = 0,05 dengan ketentuan H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran STEM berbantu media one sided view 3D hologram dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Media Pembelajaran, One Side View 3D Hologram, STEM ii ABSTRACT Critical thinking is a very important skill for students in facing the challenges of the 21st century, because this ability helps students analyze information in depth, make the right decisions, and find creative solutions to various problems around them. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of STEM learning assisted by one-sided view 3D hologram media on critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative study, using the Quasy Experiment method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design. The population of this study were all students of class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used Cluster Random Sampling and obtained class X.B as many as 36 students as the experimental class with the implementation of STEM learning and class X.E as many as 36 students as the control class by implementing Problem Based Learning. The data collection technique used was in the form of essay test questions and student observation sheets. Data analysis used in this study was the normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the normality test using Kolmogorov smirnov and the homogeneity test using the independent sample T Test, the data obtained from both were normal and homogeneous. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the significant value of 0.000 <α = 0.05 with the provision that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the STEM learning approach assisted by one-sided view 3D hologram media can improve students' critical thinking skills.
