Abstract

ABSTRAK Kurangnya pemahaman terhadap tren dan perkembangan penelitian terkait permainan engklek dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perkembangan literatur ilmiah terkait pemanfaatan permainan engklek tradisional sebagai alat permainan edukatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis bibliometrik dengan pengumpulan data dari Google Scholar yang dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Publish or Perish dan VOSviewer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan jumlah publikasi terkait permainan engklek pada kurun waktu tahun 2021 sampai dengan tahun 2023, dengan puncaknya pada tahun 2023 yang tercatat sebanyak 408 artikel. Namun jumlah publikasi mengalami penurunan drastis pada tahun 2025 menjadi 84 publikasi. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendalaman kajian tentang penerapan permainan engklek di kelas, dengan fokus pada persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap metode ini, dan menggali potensi pengintegrasian permainan ini dalam Kurikulum Mandiri untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. This study aims to map the development of the scientific literature related to the use of traditional engklek games as an educational game tool in mathematics learning in elementary schools through a bibliometric approach. The research method used was bibliometric analysis with data collection from Google Scholar, which was analyzed using Publish or Perish and VOSviewer software. The results of the study show a significant increase in the number of publications related to the engklek game in the period 2021 to 2023, with a peak in 2023 which recorded 408 articles. However, the number of publications has decreased drastically in 2025 to 84 publications. The implications of the results of this study are the importance of deepening the study of the implementation of engklek games in the classroom, focusing on the perception of teachers and students towards this method, and exploring the potential for integrating this game in the Independent Curriculum to support mathematics learning in elementary schools.
