Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung, masih rendanya literasi digital dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sehingga dibutuhkannya inovasi baru dalam penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Self Directed Learning terhadap literasi digital dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan model Quasy Experimen Design. Desain yang digunkan ialah Pre-test dan Post-test Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan dara terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan non tes berupa angket literasi digital dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 10 butir soal untuk mengukur literasi digital dan 18 butir soal untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh kelas VII.2 (kelas eksperimen) dan VII.7 (kelas kontrol). Kelas Eksperimen menggunakan model Self Directed Learning dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t independent literasi digiral dan kemampuan berpikir kritis menunjukan nilai yang sama bahwa sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < α (0.05), maka H0 di tolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan pembelajaran Self Directed Learning terhadap literasi digital dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII pada mata pelajaran biologi. Kata kunci : Literasi Digital, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Self Directed Learning. iii ABSTRACT Based on the results of pre-research conducted at SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung, digital literacy and critical thinking skills of students are still low. So that new innovations are needed in implementing appropriate learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of the Self Directed Learning model on digital literacy and critical thinking skills of class VII students in biology subjects. This research is a quantitative study with a Quasy Experiment Design model. The design used is Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. Data collection techniques consist of critical thinking ability tests and non-tests in the form of digital literacy questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument consists of 10 questions to measure digital literacy and 18 questions for critical thinking skills. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique in this study used the cluster random sampling technique obtained from class VII.2 (experimental class) and VII.7 (control class). The Experimental Class uses the Self Directed Learning model and the control class uses the Discovery Learning model. The analysis test used is the independent t-test of digital literacy and critical thinking skills showing the same value that sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <α (0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the results of this study can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Self Directed Learning on digital literacy and critical thinking skills of class VII students in biology subjects.
