Abstract

ABSTRAK Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPAS yang memerlukan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Pembelajaran konvensional yang masih banyak digunakan di kelas sering kali tidak mampu melibatkan siswa secara aktif, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan aktif dalam menyelesaikan masalah, salah satunya melalui model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV MIN 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS dengan mengadopsi model yang lebih inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan CPS dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran CPS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan SPSS-24, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, serta nilai R Squared sebesar 69%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model CPS berkontribusi sebesar 69% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model CPS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPA, serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa. Conventional learning that is still widely used in class is often unable to actively involve students, resulting in low learning outcomes. Therefore, a learning approach is needed that can encourage students to think creatively and actively in solving problems, one of which is through the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CPS learning model on student learning outcomes in science learning in class IV MIN 2 Bandar Lampung. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of science learning by adopting a more innovative and effective model. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design, involving two classes, namely the experimental class that applied CPS and the control class that used conventional learning methods. The results showed that the application of the CPS learning model had a significant effect on student learning outcomes in science subjects. Based on data analysis using SPSS-24, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained, which was smaller than 0.05 and an R Squared value of 69%. This shows that the CPS model contributes 69% to improving student learning outcomes. Thus, the CPS model has proven effective in improving students' understanding of science materials, as well as developing students' critical and creative thinking skills.
