Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan Kognitif Anak Usia Dini Merupakan Aspek Penting Yang Menentukan Kesiapan Anak dalam Menghadapi Jenjang Pendidikan Selanjutnya. Namun, Berdasarkan Pengamatan Awal Di TK Dharma Wanita Bandarejo, Ditemukan Adanya Variasi Signifikan Dalam Kemampuan Kognitif Anak. Beberapa Anak Telah Menunjukkan Perkembangan Optimal, Sementara Yang Lain Masih Berada Pada Tahap Belum Berkembang. Kondisi Ini Menunjukkan Pentingnya Peran Metode Pembelajaran Yang Digunakan Guru Dalam Merangsang Kemampuan Berpikir Anak Secara Efektif Dan Menyeluruh. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mendeskripsikan Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Dalam Pengembangan Kemampuan Kognitif Anak Usia Dini Di TK Dharma Wanita Bandarejo. Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Pendekatan Kualitatif Dengan Jenis Deskriptif. Teknik Pengumpulan Data Dilakukan Melalui Observasi, Wawancara Mendalam Dengan Guru, Serta Dokumentasi Kegiatan Pembelajaran. Analisis Data Dilakukan Melalui Tahapan Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, Dan Penarikan Kesimpulan, Dengan Uji Keabsahan Menggunakan Triangulasi Sumber Dan Teknik. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Guru Telah Mengimplementasikan Berbagai Metode Pembelajaran Seperti Tanya Jawab, Bermain, Bernyanyi, Mewarnai, Dan Karyawisata Untuk Mengembangkan Aspek Kognitif Anak. Metode-Metode Tersebut Dipilih Berdasarkan Karakteristik Anak Dan Didukung Oleh Media Edukatif. Namun, Keterbatasan Sarana Dan Perbedaan Tingkat Kesiapan Anak Masih Menjadi Tantangan. Oleh Karena Itu, Peningkatan Kualitas Sarana, Pelatihan Guru, Serta Kolaborasi Antara Guru Dan Orang Tua Sangat Diperlukan Guna Menciptakan Lingkungan Belajar Yang Optimal Bagi Perkembangan Kognitif Anak Usia Dini. Kata Kunci: Metode Pengembangan Kognitif, Anak Usia Dini ii ABSTRACT The cognitive development of early childhood is a crucial aspect that determines children's readiness to face the next level of education. However, based on initial observations at TK Dharma Wanita Bandarejo, there are significant variations in children’s cognitive abilities. Some children have shown optimal development, while others are still in the undeveloped stage. This condition highlights the importance of the teaching methods used by teachers in effectively and comprehensively stimulating children's thinking abilities. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning methods in developing the cognitive abilities of early childhood at TK Dharma Wanita Bandarejo. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity testing using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that teachers have implemented various learning methods such as question and answer, play, singing, coloring, and field trips to develop children's cognitive aspects. These methods were chosen based on the characteristics of the children and supported by educational media. However, limitations in facilities and differences in children's readiness levels remain challenges. Therefore, improving the quality of facilities, teacher training, and collaboration between teachers and parents are necessary to create an optimal learning environment for the cognitive development of early childhood.
