Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara menyeluruh pelaksanaan khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Jami’ At-Taqwa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Jami’ At-Taqwa telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan ketentuan syariat Islam. Materi khutbah yang disampaikan oleh khatib bersifat relevan dengan kondisi sosial masyarakat, mudah dipahami, dan disampaikan dengan bahasa yang komunikatif. Jamaah mengikuti khutbah dengan tertib dan antusias, menunjukkan adanya penerimaan yang positif terhadap isi khutbah. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan pelaksanaan khutbah meliputi kualitas khatib, kesiapan sarana dan prasarana, peran aktif pengurus masjid, serta antusiasme jamaah. Adapun faktor penghambatnya antara lain variasi kemampuan khatib, kendala teknis pada alat pengeras suara, dan belum adanya evaluasi rutin terhadap isi dan metode penyampaian khutbah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi pengurus masjid dan para khatib dalam pembinaan umat. meningkatkan kualitas khutbah Jum’at sebagai media dakwah dan Kata Kunci: Khutbah Jum’at, Masjid Jami’ At-Taqwa, Deskriptif Kualitatif, Dakwah, Khatib. ABSTRACT This study aims to comprehensively describe the implementation of Friday sermons at the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the Friday sermons at the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque were conducted successfully and in accordance with Islamic law. The sermon material delivered by the preacher was relevant to the community's social conditions, easy to understand, and delivered in communicative language. The congregation followed the sermon orderly and enthusiastically, indicating a positive reception of the sermon's content. Factors supporting the success of the sermon included the quality of the preacher, the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, the active role of the mosque management, and the enthusiasm of the congregation. Inhibiting factors included variations in the preacher's abilities, technical difficulties with the loudspeakers, and the lack of regular evaluation of the sermon's content and delivery methods. This research is expected to provide input for mosque administrators and preachers in improving the quality of Friday sermons as a medium for preaching and community development.
