Abstract
ABSTRACT This study examines the relationship between the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and economic growth in Indonesia over the period 2004-2024. In this study, a Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) approach is used to examine the short-run and long-run relationships between the variables involved. The study found that in the short-run and long run,CPI has a significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth, while FDI shows no significant effect. The Granger causality test revealed a one-way causality relationship, where economic growth affects CPI and FDI, but not vice versa. In the perspective of Islamic economics, this study emphasizes that economic growth should not only be oriented towards quantitative aspects, but also pay attention to qualitative aspects based on the values of justice, blessings, and sustainability, with the aim of equitable distribution of wealth for the benefit of the entire community. LATAR BELAKANG Keywords: Corruption, Economic Growth, Foreign Investment, Islamic Economics, VECM.
