Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya kreativitas dan variasi guru dalam menerapkan media pembelajaran yang melibatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Kartu Kata Bergambar Berbantuan Word Square Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul’Ulum . Jenis penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental. Quasi Eksperimental yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pretest-Postest Control Group Desaign. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan rata-rata kemampuan keterampilan membaca pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 13,53 Dari jumlah peserta didik 30 kelas eksperimen, nilai minimum skor pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 8 dan nilai maksimum skor pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 16 , skor posttes kelas eksperimen yang terendah adalah 9 dan skor maksimum kelas eksperimen adalah 16 Hasil penelitian melalui aplikasi SPSS Satatistik V 20 For Windowns menunjukan juga bahwa uji-T melalui aplikasi SPSS statistic V for windows diperoleh nilai sig < 0,05 (5%) pada sig (2- tailed) diperoleh 0,002 < 0,05 (5%) maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran kartu kata bergambar berbantuan media word square terhadap kemampuan belajar permulaan kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul’Ulum Pardasuka. disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis HO ditolak dan HI diterima, artinya ada pengaruh signifikan media pembelajaran kartu kata bergambar berbantuan word square terhadap keterampilan membaca per kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul’ulum Pardasuka Kata Kunci : Kartu Kata Bergambar, word square ii ABSTRAK This research was motivated by several obstacles, such as the lack of creativity and variation of teachers in implementing learning mediawhich involves students' beginning reading skills.. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Picture Card Learning Media Assisted by Word Square on the Beginning Reading Ability of Class II of Nurul'Ulum Elementary School. The type of experimental research used in this study is Quasi Experimental. The Quasi Experimental used in this study is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This can be proven by the average reading skill ability in the experimental class reaching 13.53. Of the total number of students in 30 the experimental class, The minimum value of the pretest score for the experimental class is 9 and the maximum value of the pretest score for the experimental class is 16, the lowest posttest score for the experimental class is 9 and the maximum score for the experimental class is 16. The results of the study using the SPSS Statistics V 20 For Windows application also showed that the T test using the SPSS Statistics V for Windows application obtained a sig value < 0.05 (5%) in the sig (2-tailed) test.it is concluded that there is a significant influence of picture word card learning assisted by word square media on the initial learning abilities of class II of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul'Ulum Pardasuka then it can be concluded that the HO hypothesis is rejected and HI is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of picture card learning media assisted by word squares on reading skills per class II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul'Ulum Pardasuka Keywords: Picture Word Cards, word square
