Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting dan tergolong dalam kemampuan tingkat tinggi karena didalamnya menerapkan aspek keterampilan kognitif, efektif, dan metakognitif. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada hasil observasi yang dilakukan di SMAS Persada Bandar Lampung dimana kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik masih berada di kategori yang kurang. Hal ini dikarenakan kurang antusias nya peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan media Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif Peserta didik kelas X pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksprimen design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMAS Persada Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Terambil sampel kelas X umum 1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan X umum 2 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang telah dilakukan uji empiris yaitu uni validitas, reliabilitas dan tingkat kesukaran sehingga instrumen telah layak untuk digunakan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan media Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang ditunjukkan pada hasil uji independent sample T-tes dengan nilai sig. 0,00 > 0,05 yang berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan media Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas X pada mata mata pelajaran Biologi. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan berpikir kreatif, mind mapping, Model Problem Based Learning iii ABSTRACT Creative thinking ability is a very important ability and is classified as a high-level ability because it includes aspects of cognitive, effective, and metacognitive skills. This study is based on the results of observations conducted at SMAS Persada Bandar Lampung where students' creative thinking abilities are still in the low category. This is due to the lack of enthusiasm of students in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model Assisted by Mind Mapping media on the creative thinking abilities of class X students in biology subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design method. The population in this study were all class X students at SMAS Persada Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique in this study used the Total Sampling technique. Take a sample of class X general 1 as the Experimental class and X general 2 as the Control class. The instrument used was a creative thinking ability question that had been empirically tested, namely the validity, reliability and level of difficulty so that the instrument was suitable for use. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning model Assisted by Mind Mapping media on students' creative thinking skills as shown in the results of the Independent Sample T-test with a sig. value of 0.00> 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model Assisted by Mind Mapping media on the creative thinking skills of class X students in the Biology subject.
