Abstract

ABSTRAK Perubahan sosial merupakan pergeseran yang terjadi dalam masyarakat yang memengaruhi sistem nilai, norma sosial, pelapisan sosial, struktur sosial, proses sosial, pola, tindakan sosial, serta lembaga lembaga kemasyarakatan. Salah satu bentuk perubahan sosial yang terjadi di Pekon Seray adalah pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas. Kehadiran bandara ini membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat setempat. Namun, pembangunan tersebut juga menghadirkan tantangan, seperti pergeseran pola hidup masyarakat, termasuk dalam gaya berpakaian, nilai, norma, dan budaya. Pembangunan bandara ini merupakan bagian dari tanggung jawab pemerintah dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana perubahan sosial masyarakat pasca pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui di Pekon Seray Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah Kabupaten Pesisir Barat? dan Bagaimana dampak pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui di Pekon Seray Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah Kabupaten Pesisir Barat? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan sosial masyarakat pasca pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui di vSeray dan dampak pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui di Pekon Seray. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga metode yaitu observasi yang dilakukan dengan cara langsung turun ke lapangan untuk mengamati perilaku dan aktivitas individu-individu dilokasi penelitian. Kemudian wawancara yang dilakukan dengan berkomunikasi secara verbal dalam bentuk percakapan untuk memperoleh informasi yang berkaitan dengan tema yang di angkat dan menggunakan metode dokumentasi dalam mencari data terkait yang berupa catatan, buku-buku, transkip, surat kabar, majalah, arsip foto selama proses kegiatan penelitian dan lain sebagainya. Menentukan informan untuk di wawancara peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dimana peneliti memilih informan yang relevan untuk di wawancara sesuai dengan tema yang di angkat. Teori yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Teori Konstruksi Sosial Peter L Berger. Teori tersebut dapat menganalisis dan membahas hasil temuan yang ada di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perubahan sosial masyarakat pasca pembangunan Bandara Muhammad Taufik Kiemas di Pekon Seray tergolong pada perubahan lambat (evolusi) karena perubahan ini berlangsung secara bertahap dan tidak mengubah struktur dalam masyarakat. Adapun perubahan ini meliputi pergeseran mata pencaharian dari sektor pertanian ke bidang jasa, gaya hidup serta interaksi sosial yang menyesuaikan dengan kondisi baru. Dengan adanya perubahan tersebut akan berdampak pada aspek sosial dan pendidikan. Dampak sosial seperti pada Pembangunan bandara ini memfasilitasi difusi budaya dengan meningkatnya interaksi antara masyarakat lokal dan pendatang dari berbagai latar belakang, yang membawa perubahan dalam nilai, norma, dan pola perilaku masyarakat. Selain itu, keberadaan bandara membuka peluang mobilitas sosial melalui sistem stratifikasi terbuka yang memungkinkan peningkatan status ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat. Di sisi lain juga dampak pendidikan mendorong kesadaran masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) melalui peningkatan akses dan motivasi pendidikan, seiring tuntutan dunia kerja yang semakin kompleks akibat hadirnya peluang baru dari pembangunan bandara tersebut. ABSTRAK Social change is a change that occurs in society that affects the value system, social norms, social strata, social structure, social processes, patterns, social actions, and social institutions. One form of social change that occurred in Pekon Seray is the construction of Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Airport. The presence of this airport opens up new economic opportunities for the local community. However, this development also presents challenges, such as changes in people's lifestyles, including clothing styles, values, norms, and culture. The construction of this airport is part of the government's responsibility in encouraging economic growth in order to improve people's welfare. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the social change in society after the construction of Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui Airport in Seray Village, Pesisir Tengah District, Pesisir Barat Regency? and What is the impact of the construction of Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui Airport in Seray Village, Pesisir Tengah District, Pesisir Barat Regency? This study aims to analyze social changes in society after the construction of Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui Airport in Seray Village and the impact of the construction of Muhammad Taufiq Kiemas Krui Airport in Seray Village. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method uses three methods, namely observation carried out by going directly to the field to observe the behavior and activities of individuals at the research location. Then the interview was conducted by communicating verbally in the form of a conversation to obtain information related to the theme raised and using the documentation method in finding related data in the form of notes, books, transcripts, newspapers, magazines, photo archives during the research process and so on. Determining informants to be interviewed by researchers using purposive sampling techniques where researchers choose relevant informants to be interviewed according to the theme raised. The theory used by researchers in this study is Peter L Berger's Social Construction Theory. This theory can analyze and discuss the findings in the field. The results of the study indicate that social changes in society after the construction of Muhammad Taufik Kiemas Airport in Pekon Seray are classified as slow changes (evolution) because these changes occur gradually and do not change the structure of society. These changes include changes in livelihoods from the agricultural sector to the service sector, lifestyles and social interactions that adapt to new conditions. With these changes, it will have an impact on social and educational aspects. Social impacts such as the construction of this airport encourage cultural diffusion with increased interaction between local communities and immigrants from various backgrounds, which brings changes in values, norms, and behavioral patterns of society. In addition, the existence of the airport opens up opportunities for social movement through an open stratification system that allows for an increase in the economic and social status of society. On the other hand, the impact of education also encourages public awareness to improve the quality of human resources (HR) through increased access and motivation to education, along with the demands of the increasingly complex world of work due to the presence of new opportunities from the construction of the airport.
