Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh full day school terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh full day school terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. Full day school adalah program pendidikan yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih luas melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler yang integritas. Kedisiplinan peserta didik adalah kemampuan untuk mengikuti aturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku, serta kemampuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data terdiri dari kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 52 peserta didik yang diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Skala yang digunakan dalam kuesioner adalah skala likert dengan empat alternatif jawaban. Uji validitas instrument dengan teknik korelasi pearson product moment dan uji reabilitas menggunakan teknik cronbach’s alpha. Data dianalisi dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan koefisien determinasi (R2) melalui bantuan program SPSS 25 for windows. Variable independen dalam penelitian ini adalah full day school (X), yang dianalisis melalui enam indikator yaitu relevansi dan kesesuaian program, efektivitas pembelajaran, efesiensi pengelolaan waktu, keseimbangan antara akademik dan non akademik, kesejahteraan peserta didik serta dukungan orang tua dan masyarakat. Sementara itu, variabel dependen adalah kedisiplinan peserta didik (Y), yang diukur melalui empat indikator yaitu disiplin pada aturan dan tata tertib sekolah, disiplin pada kegiatan pembelajaran, disiplin dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah, dan disiplin belajar ketika berada dirumah. ii Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara full day school terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik di MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi sederhana, diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 14,120 + 0,780X, yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu poin dalam penerapan full day school akan meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik sebesar 0,780 poin. Hasil uji t parsial menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,556 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,681, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti bahwa full day school berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,594 mengindikasikan bahwa 59,4% perubahan dalam kedisiplinan siswa dipengaruhi oleh penerapan full day school, sementara sisanya sebesar 40,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa full day school memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk dan meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik melalui rutinitas yang terstruktur, pengawasan intensif, serta pembiasaan terhadap tanggung jawab dan tata tertib sekolah. Kata Kunci : Full Day School, Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik. iii ABSTRACT This study discusses the effect of full day school on student discipline at MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of full day school on student discipline at MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. Full day school is an educational program designed to provide a broader learning experience through intracurricular and extracurricular activities with integrity. Student discipline is the ability to follow applicable rules and regulations, as well as the ability to develop skills and knowledge. This study uses a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques consist of questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study was 110 students and the sample used was 52 students taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique based on the Slovin formula. The scale used in the questionnaire is a Likert scale with four alternative answers. The validity test of the instrument using the Pearson product moment correlation technique and the reliability test using the Cronbach's alpha technique. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination (R2) through the assistance of the SPSS 25 for windows program. The independent variable in this study is full day school (X), which is analyzed through six indicators, namely the relevance and suitability of the program, learning effectiveness, time management efficiency, balance between academic and non-academic, student welfare and support from parents and the community. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is student discipline (Y), which is measured through four indicators, namely discipline in school rules and regulations, discipline in learning activities, discipline in completing school assignments, and discipline in studying when at home. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between full day school on student discipline at MA PSA Istiqomah Islamiyah Tulang Bawang Barat. Based on the results of simple regression analysis, the regression equation Y = 14.120 + iv 0.780X is obtained, which shows that every one point increase in the implementation of full day school will increase student discipline by 0.780 points. The results of the partial t-test showed a calculated t value of 8.556 which was greater than the t table of 1.681, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that full-day school has a significant effect on student discipline. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.594 indicates that 59.4% of changes in student discipline are influenced by the implementation of full-day school, while the remaining 40.6% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, the results of this study prove that full-day school has an important role in shaping and improving student discipline through structured routines, intensive supervision, and habituation to school responsibilities and regulations.
