Abstract

Abstrak Kepercayaan dalam hubungan pernikahan merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga keharmonisan rumah tangga. Namun, maraknya pemberitaan perselingkuhan di media sosial berpotensi mempengaruhi tingkat kepercayaan istri terhadap suami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan istri terhadap suami selain berita perselingkuhan di media sosial. dan bagaimana cara istri mengatasi ketidakpercayaan tersebut. Penelitian ini fokus pada aspek keintiman, kepuasan pernikahan, dan komitmen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan partisipan yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpercayaan istri dipengaruhi oleh komunikasi pasif, overthinking, dan pekerjaan suami yang menuntut mereka sering berada di luar rumah. Kata kunci: Ketidakpercayaan, Perselingkuhan, Media Sosial, Komunikasi, Istri. Abstract Trust in a marriage relationship is an important factor in maintaining household harmony. However, the rampant news of infidelity on social media has the potential to affect the level of trust of wives towards their husbands. This study aims to explore what factors influence wives' trust in their husbands besides infidelity news on social media. and how wives overcome this distrust. This study focuses on aspects of intimacy, marital satisfaction, and commitment. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation with participants who met certain criteria. The results showed that the wife's distrust was influenced by passive communication, overthinking, and the husband's job that requires them to be outside the home frequently.
