Abstract
Kata kunci : Mikrobiologi, Pengetahuan, Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat ABSTRACT In everyday life, humans cannot be separated from the role of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Microorganisms can provide benefits to living beings, but they can also cause diseases due to their pathogenic nature. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) refers to actions taken consciously to maintain personal health and actively participate in improving public health. This behavior is influenced by various factors such as habits at home, the surrounding environment, schools, the role of teachers, and the children themselves. This research uses a quantitative method with a product moment correlation analysis to determine whether there is a relationship between microbiology knowledge and clean and healthy living behavior. The study was conducted on Biology Education students of the 2022 cohort using a simple random sampling technique, involving 50 students. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires. The research results, analyzed using SPSS software, showed a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.031. Since this value is less than 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, indicating a relationship between microbiology knowledge and clean and healthy living behavior. The strength of the relationship is low, with a contribution of 9.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between microbiology knowledge and clean and healthy living behavior among Biology Education students at UIN Raden Intan Lampung.
