Abstract
ABSTRACT Environmental problems on campus require active student involvement in the form of pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of place attachment and subjective norms on pro-environmental behavior among students of UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a non-experimental research design by testing the correlation between variables, with a sample of 379 active students aged 18-21 years. Data collection uses three scales: the General Ecological Behavior Scale has an α of 0.71, the Place Attachment scale has an α of 0.863 and the Subjective Norm scale. The results of multiple regression analysis show that place attachment and subjective norms have an effect on pro-environmental behavior with R² = 0.657 where place attachment (β = 0.713, p <0.001) has a stronger effect than subjective norms (β = 0.163, p <0.001). This finding confirms that place attachment has a dominant role in encouraging students' pro-environmental behavior, and subjective norms are a supporting factor. Keywords: place attachment, subjective norm, pro environmental behavior.
