Abstract

ABSTRAK Hasil pra penelitian terkait literasi sains yang dilaksanakan pada kelas X memperoleh hasil dengan rata-rata indikator sebesar 41,91 yang tergolong kategori sangat rendah. Adapun hasil wawancara dengan guru dan peserta didik, nilai yang diperoleh disebabkan karena dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran belum mengarah pada kemampuan mengasah literasi sains yang melibatkan isu-isu sains yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari serta kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran dan jarangnya penggunaan kelompok belajar yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory Berbasis Gaya Belajar Terhadap Literasi Sains Kelas X Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design tipe The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas X dan sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling sehingga terambil sampel kelas X IPA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan X IPA 2 (kelas kontrol). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes literasi sains, angket gaya belajar (auditori, kinestetik, visual) dan dokumentasi. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji T-Test dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar α (0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Hypothetical Learning Trajectory berbasis Gaya Belajar terhadap Literasi Sains peserta didik dengan diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 < α (0,05). Penelitian ini memiliki kontribusi dengan memberikan solusi inovatif berupa model pembelajaran HLT berbasis gaya belajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains dengan harapan dapat membantu meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Literasi Sains, Model Pembelajaran HLT, Gaya Belajar. iii ABSTRACT The results of the pre-research related to scientific literacy carried out in class X obtained results with an average indicator of 41.91 which is categorized as very low. As for the results of interviews with teachers and students, the values obtained were due to the implementation of the learning process not yet leading to the ability to hone scientific literacy involving scientific issues related to everyday life and the lack of variation in learning models and the rare use of study groups that are adjusted to the needs of students. The study aims to analyze the effect of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory Learning Model Based on Learning Styles on Scientific Literacy in Class X in Biology Subjects. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design type The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population is all class X students and the sample taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique so that samples are taken from class X IPA 1 (experimental class) and X IPA 2 (control class). Data collection uses a science literacy test, a learning style questionnaire (auditory, kinesthetic, visual) and documentation. Hypothesis testing uses the T Test with a significance level of α (0.05). The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence on the use of the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory learning model based on Learning Styles on students' Science Literacy with a significant value of 0.000 <α (0.05). This study has contributed by providing an innovative solution in the form of a learning style-based HLT learning model that can be used in science learning with the hope of helping to improve students' science literacy.
