Abstract

ABSTRAK Masa remaja merupakan masa-masa transisi, remaja cenderung mudah terpengaruh, baik itu oleh hal-hal yang bersifat positif maupun negatif. Hal ini pun semakin berat ketika dihadapkan pada tantangan era globalisasi. Banyak sekali dampak negatif globalisasi bagi para remaja dan ternyata kemerosotan akhlaklah yang sedang menjadi keprihatinan berbagai pihak, termasuk juga menjadi keprihatinan para pemerhatu dunia pendidikan terutama pendidikan Islam. Hal ini sangat ironis mengingat remajalah aset tersbesar sebagi calon-calon sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas yang akan menentukan nasib Negara kita dikemudian hari. Kemerosotan akhlak disebabkan oleh munculnya kenakalan remaja. Dengan demikian, sangatlah penting pembinaan nilai akhlak karimah yang menjadi refleksi dan internalisasi dari keimanan dan ketaqwaan bagi para siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum dimaksudkan untuk menjawab pokok persoalan, yaitu Bagaimana peran guru PAI dalam Membina Akhlak Peserta Didik di SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut maka penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta teknis analisis data berupa tahap reduksi dat, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Informan terdiri dari guru pendidikan agama Islam, dan peserta didik SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa peran guru PAI dalam membina akhlak peserta didik dapat dilihat dari empat peran : pertama, peran guru sebagai pendidik yakni dengan memberi pengetahuan atau pemahaman tentang akhlak yang baik; Kedua, peran guru sebagai penasehat yakni dengan memberikan nasehat agar peserta didik tidak melakukan perbuatan buruk dilingkungan sekolah; ketiga, peran guru sebagai model/teladan yakni dengan memberikan contoh bagaimana cara bergaul dengan sesama peserta didik; keempat, peran guru sebagai pembimbing yaitu guru merumuskan tujuan dengan jelas yang harus ditempuh, menggunakan petunjuk perjalanan, serta menilai kelancaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan peserta didik. Kata kunci : Peran Guru, MembinaAkhlak. ii ABSTRACT Adolescence is a period of transition, teenagers tend to be easily influenced, both by positive and negative things. This is even more difficult when faced with the challenges of the globalization era. There are many negative impacts of globalization on teenagers and it turns out that the decline in morals is a concern for various parties, including the concern of observers in the world of education, especially Islamic education. This is very ironic considering that teenagers are the greatest asset as potential human resources who will determine the fate of our country in the future. The decline in morals is caused by the emergence of juvenile delinquency. Thus, it is very important to develop moral values which are a reflection and internalization of faith and devotion for students. The general aim of this research is to answer the main problem, namely what is the role of PAI teachers in developing students' morals at SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung. To answer this question, this research uses a type of qualitative research, namely data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction stages, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The informants consisted of Islamic religious education teachers and students from SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung. Based on the results of the research, it is stated that the role of PAI teachers in developing students' morals can be seen from four roles: first, the role of teachers as educators, namely by providing knowledge or understanding about good morals; Second, the teacher's role as an advisor is to provide advice so that students do not commit bad acts in the school environment; third, the teacher's role as a model, namely by providing examples of how to get along with fellow students; fourth, the role of the teacher as a guide, namely the teacher formulates clear goals that must be taken, uses travel instructions, and assesses fluency according to the needs and abilities of students.
