Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Untuk uji coba instrument pada penelitian ini, responden diambil dari tenaga pendidik SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga pendidik SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung dengan jumlah keseluruhan 45 tenaga pendidik. Adapun jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 45 orang responden tenaga pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, kemudian data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Dilihat dari hasil uji Uji-T hasil nilai T hitung sebesar 4,483 dan nilai T tabel sebesar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Dengan kriteria pengujian T hitung > T tabel dan jika Signifikansi < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang Signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa nilai korelasi variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja pendidik adalah sebesar 0,400. Nilai tersebut memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat. Dan nilai koefisien determinasi (KD) atau r 2 sebesar 0,319. Terdapat pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung adalah sebesar 31,9%. Sisanya sebesar 68,1% dapat disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor lain. Artinya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja tenaga pendidik berada pada kategori rendah dari jumlah keseluruhan 100%. Namun demikian, dapat disarankan untuk kepala sekolah sebaiknya lebih mengontrol guru dalam pembuatan RPP dan memberikan pengawasan terhadap guru agar kinerjanya meningkat. This research is quantitative. For the instrument trial in this study, the respondents were taken from the educators at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The population in this study consisted of all educators at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, totaling 45 educators. The sample size used was 45 respondents, all of whom were educators. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the data was processed and analyzed using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of school leadership on the performance of educators at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Based on the results of the T-Test, the calculated T value was 4.483 and the table T value was 2.021 with a significance value of 0.000. With the testing criteria of the calculated T value > table T value, and significance < 0.05, H0 is rejected, indicating a significant effect of school leadership on the performance of educators at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The research findings show that the correlation value between the school leadership variable and educator performance is 0.400. This value indicates a moderately strong relationship. The coefficient of determination (KD) or r2 value is 0.319. The effect of the variable X on the variable Y at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung is 31.9%. The remaining 68.1% may be attributed to other factors. This means that the influence of school leadership on educator performance falls into the low category of the total 100%. However, it is recommended that school leaders should more closely monitor teachers in preparing lesson plans (RPP) and provide supervision to improve their performance.
