Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Reading Naturally Live strategy in improving students' reading comprehension skills in English language learning. The research method used was qualitative descriptive with a case study approach in an English classroom. Data were collected through classroom observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of students' learning outcomes. The findings indicated that the use of the Reading Naturally Live strategy was effective in enhancing students' comprehension of reading texts, particularly in terms of vocabulary mastery and understanding of idiomatic expressions. Additionally, this strategy also improved students' active participation during the learning process, with positive responses to the teaching techniques employed. Challenges encountered included the differences in students' comprehension levels and the limited time for deeper implementation. The study suggests that teachers should adapt this strategy by adjusting the materials and learning duration, as well as continuously developing ways to increase student engagement in the reading learning process.
