Abstract

ABSTRAK Ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan merupakan bagian penting dari perpustakaan. Dengan tersedianya koleksi perpustakaan yang beragam akan menjadi daya tarik siswa untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan mempengaruhi minat siswa mengunjungi perpustakaan di MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh siswa MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan yang berjumlah 73 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling artinya seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung siswa di MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment yang menunjukkan r hitung (0,343) > r tabel (0,230) dengan signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05. Artinya Ha diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh antara variabel Ketersediaan Koleksi Perpustakaan (X) dan variabel Minat Kunjung Siswa (Y). Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,117 atau 11,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan terhadap minat berkunjung siswa di MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan adalah sebesar 11,7%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. With the availability of various library collections, it will become an attraction for students to visit the library to meet their information needs. Therefore, this research aims to determine whether the availability of library collections affects the interest of students in visiting the library at MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung, South Lampung. This research uses a quantitative research type with a correlational method. The population in this study consists of all students of MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan, totaling 73. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling, meaning the entire population is used as the sample. The data collection techniques in this study are interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are Pearson Product Moment correlation and simple linear regression. The research results show that the availability of library collections has a significant influence on student visit interest at MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. This is based on the results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test which shows that r count (0.343) > r table (0.230) with a significance of 0.003 < 0.05. This means that Ha is accepted, namely that there is an influence between the variable Availability of Library Collections (X) and the variable Student Visiting Interest (Y). Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.117 or 11.7% was obtained. This indicates that the influence of the availability of library collections on student visit interest at MA Nurul Islam Jati Agung Lampung Selatan is 11.7%, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.
