Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada permasalahan yang ditemukan bahwa proses implementasi kompetensi guru pada kurikulum merdeka di sekolah tersebut belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kriteria mutu pendidikan, yang mana dari segi pedagogik tenaga pendidik masih menggunakan proses pembuatan perangkat ajar yang terbatas, kemudian pada aspek kepribadian masih belum memahami konsep dasar dari penggunaan kurikulum merdeka, aspek sosial dan keprofesionalan, sebagian kecil masih belum bisa menyesuaikan diri dari segi kompetensi untuk pengaplikasikan kurikulum merdeka, yang mengharuskan tenaga pendidik hanya menjadi fasilitator. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi kompetensi guru di MIN 8 Bandar Lampung dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung implementasi kompetensi guru di MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun data berasal dari data primer yaitu wawancara, dan sekunder berupa observasi dan dokumentasi yang dikumpulkan secara langsung di MIN 8 Bandar Lampung, untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang telah dirumuskan. Dalam analisa data melalui tahapan reduksi, deskripsi dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dengan ini dapat disimpulkan Implementasi kompetensi guru di MIN 8 Bandar Lampung mencerminkan upaya berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Para guru telah berhasil menerapkan kompetensi yang mereka miliki dalam praktik sehari-hari, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas, tetapi juga memperkuat hubungan antara guru, siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Faktor penghambat meliputi tantangan mengelola kelas, metode pembelajaran yang kreatif, beban kerja guru, keterlibatan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek serta motivasi dan komitmen guru. Faktor pendukung meliputi dukungan fasilitas pembelajaran, pemahaman terhadap kurikulum merdeka, pengembangan profesional dan pelatihan pada guru, keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat serta keberagaman peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Guru, Kurikulum Merdeka ii ABSTRACT This research was conducted based on the problem that was found that the process of implementing teacher competency in the independent curriculum in the school did not fully meet the criteria for educational quality, where from a pedagogical perspective the teaching staff still used a limited process of making teaching tools, then in the personality aspect they still did not understand the basic concepts of using the independent curriculum, social and professional aspects, a small number were still unable to adapt in terms of competence to apply the independent curriculum, which required teaching staff to only be facilitators. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of teacher competency at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung and to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors for implementing teacher competency at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative type, with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. The data comes from primary data, namely interviews, and secondary data in the form of observations and documentation collected directly at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung, to answer the problem formulation that has been formulated. Data analysis goes through the stages of reduction, description and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of teacher competency at MIN 8 Bandar Lampung reflects ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education. The teachers have succeeded in applying the competencies they possess in daily practice, which not only improves the quality of learning in the classroom, but also strengthens relationships between teachers, students, parents and the community. Inhibiting factors include the challenges of managing classes, creative teaching methods, teacher workload, involvement in implementing project based learning and teacher motivation and commitment. Supporting factors include support for learning facilities, understanding of the independent curriculum, professional development and training for teachers, involvement of parents and the community and diversity of students.
