Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara loneliness dan self control dengan celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar NCT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah remaja penggemar NCT/NCTzen Lampung. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 120 responden remaja penggemar NCT yang berdomisili di Lampung. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen berupa skala celebrity worship sebanyak 24 aitem (α = 0,887), skala loneliness sebanyak 19 aitem (α = 0,926), dan skala self control sebanyak 29 aitem (α = 0,837) dengan model skala likert. Metode analisis data penelitian berupa teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara loneliness dan self control dengan celebrity worship dengan nilai koefisien determinasi R Square = 0,097 beserta taraf signifikansi 0,003 menunjukkan pengaruh loneliness dan self control terhadap celebrity worship sebesar 9,7% dan 90,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain diluar penelitian ini. Hasil juga menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara loneliness dengan celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar NCT dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (Rx1-y) = 0,235. Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self control dengan celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar NCT dimana semakin tinggi self control yang dimiliki maka akan semakin rendah tingkat celebrity worship dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (Rx2-y) = -0,280. Kata kunci: Celebrity worship, Loneliness, Self Control. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between loneliness and self-control with celebrity worship in adolescent fans of NCT. This study uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were teenage fans of NCT/NCTzen Lampung. The research sample amounted to 120 adolescent of NCT fans who live in Lampung. The purposive sampling technique was used for sampling in the study. The research data collection technique used an instrument in the form of a celebrity worship scale of 24 items (α = 0,887), a loneliness scale of 19 items (α = 0,926) and a self-control scale of 29 items (α = 0,837) with a likert scale model. Research data analysis methods used is multiple linier regression analysis techniques. The results of data analysis state that there is a significant relationship between loneliness and self-control with celebrity worship with a coefficient of determination R Square = 0,097 along with a significance level of 0,003 indicating the influence of loneliness and self-control on celebrity worship is 9,7% and 90,3% is influenced by other variables outside this study. The results also show that there is no significant relationship between loneliness and celebrity worship in adolescent NCT fans with a correlation coefficient value (Rx1-y) = 0,235. There is a significant negative relationship between self-control and celebrity worship in adolescent NCT fans where the higher the self-control possessed, the lower the level of celebrity worship with a correlation coefficient value (Rx2-y) = 0,280.
