Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media realia terhadap hasil belajar dalam pelajaran matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sumberrejo, Kecamatan Waway Karya, Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen, dan desain penelitian posttest only control design. Data hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik belum memuaskan, dan data nilai ulangan harian peserta didik perlu ditingkatkan pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan data berbentuk tes pilihan ganda. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 72 peserta didik. Sampel yang digunakan meliputi dua kelas, yaitu kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media realia, sedangkan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Direct Intruction (DI) dalam pembelajaran. Sampel terdiri dari 24 peserta didik untuk kelas IV A dan 24 peserta didik untuk kelas B. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan signifikan, dalam hasil belajar siswa, yang mendapatkan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media realia, dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media realia, mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di tingkat SD. Adapun uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t atau Independent Sample Test terdapat hasil Sig (2-talled) sebesar 0,003 yang artinya < 0,05, hal ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis pada penelitian tersebut dapat diterima. Hal ini dapat disimpullkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) berbantu media realia terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sumberrejo, Kecamatan Waway Karya, Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Matematika, Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) Berbantu Media Realia. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the influence of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model assisted by realia media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Sumberrejo Elementary School, Waway Karya District, East Lampung Regency. This research is a quantitative study using the experimental method and a posttest-only control design. The pre-research data conducted show that the students' learning outcomes are unsatisfactory, and the daily test scores of the students need to be improved in the subject of mathematics. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of multiple-choice tests. The population of this study consists of all fourth grade students, totaling 72 students. The sample used includes two classes, namely class IV A as the experimental class using the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model assisted by realia media, while class IV B serves as the control class using the Direct Instruction (DI) learning model. The sample consists of 24 students from class IV A and 24 students from class IV B. Data analysis techniques include normality tests using the Shapiro-Wilk test, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests using the t-test. The research results show a significant improvement in student learning outcomes for those who received instruction through the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model assisted by realia media, compared to the control class. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model with the aid of realia media can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes at the elementary school level. Furthermore, the hypothesis test using the t-test or Independent Sample Test yielded a Sig (2 tailed) result of 0.003, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of using the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model with realia media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Sumberrejo Elementary School, Waway Karya District, East Lampung Regency.
