Abstract
ABSTRAK Guru merupakan unsur manusiawi yang sangat menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan, oleh karena itu guru sebagai sumber daya manusia yang berperanan penting dalam dunia pendidikan perlu dikembangkan secara terus menerus agar diperoleh sumber daya manusia yang bermutu dalam arti yang sebenarnya, yaitu dapat memenuhi tuntutan pekerjaanya. Jadi diantara semua komponen sistem pembelajaran di sekolah, guru merupakan komponen yang paling esensial dan menentukan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang Pran kepala Madrasah sebagai Supervisor dalam memningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru di MTs. Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan informan: Kepala Madrasah, Waka kurikulum dan guru di MTs. Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan dengan triangulasi sumber dan tekhnik. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis tentang peran kepala madrasah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di MTs. Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung yaitu Kepala Madrasah mampu melaksanakan perannya sebagai supervisor. Kepala madrasah mengimplementasikan perannya kepada tenaga pendidik dengan melakukan kunjungan kelas untuk peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran, observasi bagi guru yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam proses belajar mengajar, menentukan metode dan teknik belajar mengajar dengan mengadakan rapat dan bimbingan, mempertinggi mutu dan pengetahuan guru dengan melakukan pelatihan, evaluasi, KKGM (kelompok kerja guru madrasah) bagi guru. Kata Kunci: Peran Kepala Madrasah, Supervisor, Profesionalisme Guru ii ABSTRACT Teachers are the human element that determines the success of education, therefore teachers as the human resource that plays an important role in the world of education need to be developed continuously in order to obtain human resources that are of quality in the true sense, that is, to meet the demands of their work. So of all the components of the learning system in the school, the teacher is the most essential component and determines the quality of learning. This research aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of training in improving teacher performance at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation with informants: Principal, teachers and students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, check the credibility of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of training in improving teacher performance at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung has increased as evidenced by increased skills in understanding student needs, creating a fun and meaningful learning environment. It has also been proven to be effective in terms of how to apply various learning strategies, manage time, and create a conducive classroom climate, in line with the theories of Moekijat and Mon & Mulyadi. Being said to be effective can also be seen from the strong pedagogical understanding of teachers who are more able to integrate new learning methods, by applying motivational concepts well in accordance with motivation theories such as self determination theory or needs theory. The training has fulfilled important elements such as the need to develop appropriate learning strategies, and an emphasis on direct practice and reflection by providing opportunities for teachers to be actively involved in the learning process, discussing and collaborating with fellow teachers.
