Abstract

ABSTRAK Manajemen kelas merupakan suatu rentetan kegiatan guru untuk menumbuhkan dan mempertahankan organisasi kelas yang efektif dan efisien. Adanya manajemen kelas yaitu salah satunya bertujuan untuk menertibkan dan sekaligus untuk mendisiplinkan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dengan demikian, kedisiplinan siswa memiliki kemampuan untuk mengontrol perilaku mereka untuk mewujudkan kelas yang kondusif, yaitu kelas yang membantu mencapai tujuan Pendidikan. Hasil pra penelitian di MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa guru kurang memperhatikan manajemen kelas dan kedisiplinan siswa yang kurang. Dengan rumusan masalah yaitu apakah terdapat pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian field research. Sedangkan populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 488 siswa di MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan jumlah 83 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, dan uji lineritas. Sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear, koefisien determinasi, dan uji-t (parsial). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikansi manajemen kelas terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung dengan besarnya pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap kedisiplinan siswa yang ditemukan pada uji kofesien determinasi yaitu dihasilkan nilai sebesar 48,4%. Artinya kedisiplinan siswa dipengaruhi oleh manajemen kelas sebesar 48,4% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 51,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. The existence of classroom management is one of the aims to organize and at the same time discipline students in the teaching and learning process. Thus, student discipline has the ability to control their behavior to create a conducive class, namely a class that helps achieve educational goals. The results of pre-research at MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung showed that teachers paid less attention to classroom management and lack of student discipline. With the formulation of the problem, namely whether there is an influence of classroom management on the level of student discipline at MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of classroom management on the level of student discipline at MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a field research approach. While the population in this study amounted to 488 students at MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The sample in this study used the purposive sampling technique determined using the Slovin formula with a total of 83 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used normality test, and linearity test. While the hypothesis test used linear regression analysis technique, coefficient of determination, and t-test (partial). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of class management on the level of student discipline at MTS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung with the magnitude of the influence of class management on the level of student discipline found in the coefficient of determination test, namely the value of 48,4%. This means that student discipline is influenced by class management by 48,4% while the remaining 51,6% is influenced by other factors that were not studied.
