Abstract

ABSTRAK Analisis Potensi Masjid Safinatul Ulum Dalam Penerapan Eco Masjid Di Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung Oleh : ARRA PUTRI AULIA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi Masjid Safinatul Ulum di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung dalam menerapkan konsep Eco Masjid. Eco Masjid merupakan pendekatan ramah lingkungan yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan dalam pengelolaan masjid. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Safinatul Ulum memiliki potensi besar dalam menerapkan konsep Eco Masjid. Beberapa aspek yang mendukung penerapan tersebut antara lain: keberadaan fasilitas hemat energi seperti lampu LED dan penggunaan ventilasi alami untuk mengurangi penggunaan pendingin udara, pemanfaatan ruang terbuka hijau di sekitar masjid, serta pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Selain itu, masjid juga memiliki program edukasi lingkungan bagi jamaah, seperti kampanye hemat air dan pengurangan penggunaan plastik. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan berdasarkan penilaian GBCI (Green building council Indonesia) menunjukkan bahwa dari 6 kategori yang ada masjid safinatul ulum sudah mendapatkan presentase sebesar 89,58% dengan jumlah nilai akhir 71 dan masuk dalam kategori peringkat Platinum dan berdasarkan peraturan KEMENAG mengenai Rumah Ibadah (Masjid) dalam bidang idarah, imarah, dan riayah Masjid Safinatul Ulum sudah menjalankan peraturan KEMENAG sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku. Kata Kunci: Eco Masjid, keberlanjutan, lingkungan. iv ABSTRACT Analysis of the Potential of the Safinatul Ulum Mosque in Implementing Eco Mosque at Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University By : ARRA PUTRI AULIA This research aims to analyze the potential of the Safinatul Ulum Mosque at the State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung in implementing the Eco Mosque concept. Eco Mosque is an environmentally friendly approach that integrates sustainability principles in mosque management. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the Safinatul Ulum Mosque has great potential in implementing the Eco Mosque concept. Several aspects that support this implementation include: the existence of energy-saving facilities such as LED lights and the use of natural ventilation to reduce the use of air conditioning, the use of green open spaces around mosques, and 3R�based waste management (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Apart from that, the mosque also has environmental education programs for the congregation, such as campaigns to save water and reduce the use of plastic. Based on the results of the review based on the GBCI (Green building council Indonesia) assessment, it shows that from the 6 categories that exist, the Safinatul Ulum mosque has received a percentage of 89.58% with a final score of 71 and is included in the Platinum ranking category and based on KEMENAG regulations regarding Houses of Worship (Mosques). ) in the field of idarah, emirah and riayah, the Safinatul Ulum Mosque has implemented KEMENAG regulations in accordance with applicable provisions.
