Abstract

ABSTRAK Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian daerah karena kemampuannya menciptakan lapangan kerja, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, dan memperkuat ekonomi lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran UMKM terhadap pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) dalam perspektif Ekonomi Syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) melalui pajak dan retribusi. Kenaikan jumlah UMKM dan pajak daerah secara umum selaras dengan peningkatan PAD. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan UMKM memiliki hubungan positif dengan peningkatan pajak dan retribusi daerah, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada PAD. UMKM yang tumbuh tidak hanya memperluas basis pajak daerah, tetapi juga berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan pendapatan melalui aktivitas ekonomi yang beragam. Dari perspektif Ekonomi Syariah, UMKM yang beroperasi sesuai prinsip ekonomi syariah dengan konsep maslahat berperan penting dalam mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan menciptakan lapangan kerja yang layak dan berkeadilan. Melalui penyerapan tenaga kerja, penguatan ekonomi lokal, dan pengembangan produk halal. Mereka tidak hanya berkontribusi secara ekonomi, tetapi juga mendorong tercapainya maqasid al-shariah (tujuan syariah), yaitu menjaga agama, jiwa, akal, keturunan, dan harta, yang akhirnya membawa kebaikan bagi masyarakat secara keseluruhan. ABSTRACT Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the regional economy because of their ability to create jobs, increase community income, and strengthen the local economy. This study aims to analyze the role of MSMEs in local revenue (PAD) from a Sharia Economic perspective. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The main data source is the official publication of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Province, which includes data related to MSMEs, local revenue, and other relevant economic indicators. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic approach, to provide an overview of the role of MSMEs in supporting local revenue based on a Sharia Economic perspective. Data validation was carried out by triangulating sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information. The results of the study show that MSMEs make a significant contribution to increasing local revenue (PAD) through taxes and levies. The increase in the number of MSMEs and local taxes is generally in line with the increase in PAD. This shows that the growth of MSMEs has a positive relationship with the increase in local taxes and levies, which ultimately has an impact on PAD. The growing MSMEs not only expand the regional tax base, but also contribute directly to increasing income through diverse economic activities. From the perspective of Islamic Economics, MSMEs that operate according to Islamic economic principles with the concept of maslahat play an important role in supporting community welfare by creating decent and equitable employment. Through the absorption of labor, strengthening the local economy, and developing halal products. They not only contribute economically, but also encourage the achievement of maqasid al-shariah (the goals of sharia), namely maintaining religion, soul, mind, descendants, and property, which ultimately bring goodness to society as a whole.
