Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini membahas tentang “Pengaruh Pendidikan Pemakai Terhadap Pemanfaatan Layanan Referensi di Perpustakaan UIN Raden Intan Lampung.” Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan pemakai terhadap pemanfaatan layanan referensi dan faktor penghambat yang dilakukan oleh pustakawan untuk kegiatan pendidikan pemakai. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengmbilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 100 responden yang mewakili populasi pemustaka Perpustakaan UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah wawancara terstruktur, observasi, kuesioner tertutup dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan uji normalitas, uji lineritas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pendidikan pemakai 3,44 dan pemanfaatan layanan referensi sebesar 3,47. Kedua nilai ini berada pada skala interval 3,28 - 4,03 yang berarti dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, data yang diperoleh dari uji parsial (uji t) dengan SPSS versi 22, dari hasil tabel coefficients perhitungan regeresi linear sederhana diketahui nilai t hitung = 3,927 dan nilai t tabel pada tabel statistic dengan signifikasi 0,05 adalah sebesar 0,1966. Karena t hitung (3,927) > t tabel (0,1966) maka, Ha diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. Maka dapat disimpulkan variabel Pendidikan Pemakai(X) terhadap variabel Pemanfaatan Layanan Referensi(Y) ada pengaruh yang signifikan atau tingkat pengaruh pendidikan pemakai sangat signifikan terhadap pemanfaatan layanan referensi. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of user education on the use of reference services and the inhibiting factors implemented by librarians for user education activities. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling technique of 100 respondents who represented the population of UIN Raden Intan Lampung Library users. The techniques used for data collection are structured interviews, observation, closed questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression with normality test, linearity test and hypothesis test. The research results show that the average user education value is 3.44 and the use of reference services is 3.47. These two values are on an interval scale of 3.28 - 4.03, which means they are categorized as very high. Based on the research results, data obtained from the partial test (t test) with SPSS version 22, from the results of the coefficients table for simple linear regression calculations, it is known that the calculated t value = 3.927 and the t table value in the statistical table with a significance of 0.05 is 0.1966. Because t count (3.927) > t table (0.1966), Ha is accepted, which means there is an influence between variable X and variable Y. So it can be concluded that the User Education variable (X) has a significant influence on the Reference Service Utilization variable (Y). or the level of influence of user education is very significant on the use of reference services.
