Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengaruh dan kontribusi model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan media baamboozle terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS kelas V di SDN 1 Way Galih Lampung Selatan. Adapun yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemahaman konsep sebagian peserta didik yang masih rendah, kurangnya kerja sama antar peserta didik dalam memahami konsep IPAS yang diberikan guru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Eksperimental atau eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas V di SDN 1 Way Galih Lampung Selatan dan sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrument tes pemahaman konsep IPAS yang telah valid. Hasil data penelitian tentang pemahaman konsep diperoleh dari data nilai posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji t independent untuk melihat pengaruh model terhadap variabel terikat dan uji koefisien determinasi untuk melihat kontribusi model terhadap variabel terikat yang dioperasikan dengan Program SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan media boombazle berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS kelas V di SDN 1 Way Galih, ini dapat dilihat dari sig. 2-tailed 0,010 < (0,05), dan thitung sebesar 2.717. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar dari thitung. Maka, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan media Baamboozle terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS kelas V di SDN 1 Way Galih Lampung Selatan. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) Berbantuan Media Baamboozle, Pemahaman Konsep. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to describe how the influence and contribution of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by baamboozle media on understanding the concept of IPAS class V at SDN 1 Way Galih South Lampung. The background of this research is the ability to understand the concepts of some students who are still low, the lack of cooperation between students in understanding the concept of IPAS given by the teacher. The type of research used is quantitative research. The research method used is Quasi Experimental or pseudo experiment with Post-Test Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 1 Way Galih South Lampung and the research sample was two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data collection technique was carried out using a valid IPAS concept understanding test instrument. The results of research data on concept understanding obtained from posttest value data analyzed using independent t test analysis to see the effect of the model on the dependent variable and the coefficient of determination test to see the contribution of the model to the dependent variable operated with the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by boombazle media had an effect on understanding the concept of IPAS class V at SDN 1 Way Galih, this can be seen from sig. 2-tailed 0.010 < (0.05), and tcount of 2,717. This shows that the tcount is greater than the tcount. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect on the use of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Baamboozle media on understanding the concept of IPAS class V at SDN 1 Way Galih South Lampung.
