Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dan pengaruh ajaran Islam dalam perkembangan Kota Pelabuhan Malaka pada periode 1400–1511. Malaka, yang terletak di Selat Malaka, merupakan salah satu pelabuhan penting di dunia perdagangan Asia Tenggara pada masa itu, serta menjadi pusat penyebaran Islam di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana ajaran Islam mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan di kota pelabuhan tersebut, baik dalam bidang sosial, politik, maupun ekonomi. penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh Islam terhadap undang-undang laut Malaka, yang menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam dengan kebijakan maritim lokal untuk menciptakan sistem hukum ng mengatur perdagangan dan hubungan antar bangsa. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode penelitian Sejarah atau Historis yang terdiri dari tahapan Heuristik, Verifikasi, Interpretasi dan Historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai agama Islam dalam konteks perkembangan kota pelabuhan Malaka pada abad ke-15 serta dampaknya mengenai pengaruh Islam dalam membentuk struktur hukum dan kehidupan sosial di Malaka. Kata Kunci: Islamisasi, Pelabuhan ,Undang – Undang iii ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role and influence of Islamic teachings in the development of the Port City of Malacca during the period of 1400–1511. Malacca, located in the Strait of Malacca, was one of the most important ports in Southeast Asia's trade network at the time, as well as a center for the spread of Islam in the region. This research focuses on how Islamic teachings influenced various aspects of life in the port city, including social, political, and economic fields. The study explores the influence of Islam on the Malacca maritime laws, which combined Islamic legal principles with local maritime policies to create a legal system governing trade and relations between nations. The research method applied is the Historical Research method, which consists of stages: Heuristics, Verification, Interpretation, and Historiography. The findings of this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of Islam in the context of the development of Malacca as a port city in the 15th century, as well as its impact on the formation of legal structures and social life in Malacca.
