Abstract

ABSTRAK Lembaga filantropi Islam Dompet Dhuafa mencatat dari data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) 2023, jumlah penduduk miskin pada Maret 2023 sebesar 25,90 juta orang (9,36 persen). Mereka adalah masyarakat yang tergolong kedalam kaum dhuafa. Dalam hal ini Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) berinisiatif untuk membantu mengurangi angka kemiskinan yang ada di Indonesia. PLN mendirikan Yayasan Baitul Mal Perusahaan Listrik Negara (YBM PLN) untuk mengelola ziswaf, dari masyarakat juga zakat pendapatan pegawai PLN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerangkan bagaimana fungsi manajemen terhadap distribusi zakat pada Yayasan Baitul Mal Perusahaan Listrik Negara (YBM PLN). Dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan kaum dhuafa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang mengumpulkan data dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek dan sumber penelitian ini adalah Yayasan Baitul Mal Perusahaan Listrik Negara (YBM PLN) dan tiga orang kaum dhuafa yang mendapatkan bantuan berupa penyaluran zakat dari YBM PLN. Sumber data penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa data yang dikumpulkan langsung oleh peneliti dari sumber pertama, dan data sekunder sebagai penunjang yang sudah tersusun dalam bentuk dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terbagi menjadi tiga alur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan fungsi manajemen yang diterapkan pada proses pendistribusian zakat oleh Yayasan Baitul Mal Perusahaan Listrik Negara (YBM PLN) sudah sangat baik, hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari proses pendistribusian yang sudah terstruktur dan tersusun rapi, pada proses pendistribusiannya YBM PLN bekerja sama dengan mitra YBM PLN dan juga dibantu oleh wadah tangan YBM PLN, namun dalam pendistribusian belum dilakukan secara merata kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang kurang mampu. PLN established the State Electricity Company Baitul Mal Foundation (YBM PLN) to manage ziswaf, from the community as well as zakat on the income of PLN employees. This research aims to explain the management function of zakat distribution at the Baitul Mal State Electric Company Foundation (YBM PLN). In an effort to improve the welfare of the poor. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that collects data using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The object and source of this research is the Baitul Mal Foundation of the State Electricity Company (YBM PLN) and three poor people who received assistance in the form of zakat distribution from YBM PLN. The data source for this research uses primary data in the form of data collected directly by researchers from the first source, and secondary data as support which has been arranged in document form. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which is divided into three flows, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the management function applied to the zakat distribution process by the Baitul Mal State Electric Company Foundation (YBM PLN) is very good, this can be seen from the distribution process which is structured and neatly arranged, in the distribution process YBM PLN collaborates with YBM PLN partners and also assisted by YBM PLN hand containers, but the distribution has not been carried out evenly.
