Abstract

ABSTRAK Keterampilan berpikir kritis salah satu kemampuan yang menjadi kecakapan utama dalam kehidupan di adab 21. Kemampuan untuk menganalisis informasi, membuat kesimpulan menggunakan penalaran, menilai atau mengevaluasi, dan kemudian menafsirkannya dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy Eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa test soal essay. Instrumen test dalam bentuk essay mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yakni pada aspek kompetensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa saat pretest pada kelas eksperimen menghasilkan rata-rata sebesar 51,083 dan di kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 45,583. Kemudian saat posttest rata-rata kelas eksperimen 80,667 sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 76,000. Dari perhitungan uji hipotesis yaitu uji-t diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi (sig 2-tailed) adalah 0.001, nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 (sig 0,001 < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Terusan Nunyai berdasarkan hasil uji-t dan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan bukti antara data pretest dan posttest. The ability to analyze information, make conclusions using reasoning, assess or evaluate, and then interpret it in solving problems. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class This research is quasi experimental research using quantitative methods. The type of research used is pretest-posttest non�equivalent control group design. The subjects in this research were students in class XI.1 as the experimental class and XI.2 as the control class. The data collection instrument is an essay test. The test instrument in the form of an essay measures students critical thinking abilities, namely the competency aspect. The results of this research show that students' critical thinking abilities during the pretest in the experimental class resulted in an average of 51.083 and in the control class an average of 45.583. Then during the posttest the experimental class average was 80,667 while the control class average was 76,000. From the calculation of the hypothesis test, namely the t-test, it is known that the significance value (sig 2-tailed) is 0.001, this value is smaller than 0.05 (sig 0.001 < 0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is an influence of the model Think Talk Write (TTW) learning on the critical thinking skills of class. This research can be concluded that there is an influence of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class.
