Abstract
ABSTRAK Pada pembelajaran abad 21 peserta didik dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan Self Regulation dan Habits of Mind. Pendidik perlu menguasai model pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga dapat melatih dan mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik sesuai dengan kriteria indikator Self Regulation dan Habits of Mind. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan Self Regulation dan Habits of Mind peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Proses pembelajaran pada kelas ekperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol diterapkan model konvensional (direct intruction). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan yakni Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes essay untuk mengukur kemampuan Habits of Mind dan lembar angket untuk mengukur kemampuan Self Regulation peserta didik. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji MANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan Self Regulation dan Habits of Mind peserta didik kelas VIII pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari perhitungan menggunakan independent uji MANOVA yakni diperoleh tingkat signifikan 0,000 < α = 0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Educators need to master the right learning model so they can train and develop students' abilities in accordance with the criteria for the Self Regulation and Habits of Mind indicators. One learning model that can be used is the Project Based Learning learning model. This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning learning model on students' Self Regulation and Habits of Mind abilities on the human digestive system material. In the learning process in the experimental class the Project Based Learning learning model is applied, while for the control class the conventional model (direct instruction) is applied. This research is quantitative research using the Quasi Experimental Design method. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. The samples in this study were class VIII D as the control class and class VIII E as the experimental class. The data collection technique used is an essay test to measure Habits of Mind abilities and a questionnaire sheet to measure students' Self Regulation abilities. The analysis technique used in this research is the MANOVA test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test carried out, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Project Based Learning model on the Self Regulation and Habits of Mind abilities of class VIII students on the human digestive system material. This can be seen from calculations using the independent MANOVA test, namely that a significant level of 0.000 < α = 0.05 is obtained. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
