Abstract

ABSTRAK Kurikulum Merdeka adalah sebuah konsep atau paradigma pendidikan yang memberikan kebebasan kepada peserta didik dan guru untuk mengelola proses pembelajaran. Dalam kerangka ini, siswa memiliki otonomi lebih besar dalam menentukan jalannya pembelajaran, sementara guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan pendamping yang memberikan bimbingan. Guru juga diberikan kewenangan untuk memilih materi ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat masing-masing peserta didik, sehingga dapat disesuaikan dengan karakteristik belajar individu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengalisis Persepsi, Pemahaman dan Kemampuan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka oleh Guru Biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1). Persepsi guru terhadap kurikulum merdeka memberikan respon yang positif dan baik. 2). Pemahaman guru terkait kurikulum merdeka sangat baik, guru sudah paham dan menegerti mengenai kurikulum merdeka. 3). Kemampuan implementasi kurikulum merdeka guru sudah baik, implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Way Serdang berjalan dengan lancar, guru mampu menggunakan metode dan media yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik serta dapat mengadaptasi materi ajar dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Pemahaman, Kemampuan Implementasi Guru, Kurikulum Merdeka iii ABSTRACT The Independent Curriculum is an educational concept or paradigm that gives freedom to students and teachers to manage the learning process. In this framework, students have greater autonomy in determining the course of learning, while teachers act as facilitators and companions who provide guidance. Teachers are also given the authority to choose teaching materials that suit the needs and interests of each student, so that they can be adapted to individual learning characteristics. The aim of this research is to analyze the Perception, Understanding and Ability to Implement the Independent Curriculum by Biology Teachers. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1). Teachers' perceptions of the independent curriculum provide positive and good responses. 2). The teacher's understanding of the independent curriculum is very good, the teacher understands and understands the independent curriculum. 3). The teacher's ability to implement the independent curriculum is good, the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Way Serdang runs smoothly, the teacher is able to use methods and media that suit the needs of students and can adapt teaching materials well.
