Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Open Ended terhadap pemecahan masalah pembelajaran matematika di MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Eksperimet dengan bentuk desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling (Area Sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji n-Gain dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari hasil uji hipotesis Independen sample T-test yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol didapatkan sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,001>0,05 artinya model pembelajaran Open Ended memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Open Ended terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Open Ended, Pemecahan Masalah iii ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the low level of mathematical problem solving abilities of class IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung students. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence of the Open Ended learning model on solving mathematics learning problems at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. This research is quantitative research. The type of research used is Quasy Experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling (Area Sampling). The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, n-Gain test and hypothesis test. The results of this research show that from the results of the independent sample T-test hypothesis test carried out in the experimental class and control class, sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001>0.05, meaning that the Open Ended learning model has a significant influence on the mathematics learning problem solving abilities of class IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung students. So it can be concluded that the Ho hypothesis is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of the Open Ended learning model on the mathematics learning problem solving abilities of class IV MIN 1 Bandar Lampung students.
