Abstract

ABSTRAK Online dating apps telah menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk menemukan pasangan selain kencan tatap muka. Online dating apps adalah aktivitas di mana seseorang memanfaatkan internet, seperti situs web atau aplikasi online untuk mencari pasangan romantis. Faktor faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi self-disclosure meliputi trait kepribadian openness to experience dan intimate friendship. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah trait kepribadian openness to experience dan intimate friendship dengan self-disclosure pada dewasa awal pengguna online dating apps. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh subjek sebanyak 77 orang dewasa awal. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga skala, yaitu skala self-disclosure (α= 0.942), skala trait kepribadian openness to experience (α= 0.945), dan skala intimate friendship (α= 0.915). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software JASP 0.18.3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trait kepribadian openness to experience dan intimate friendship secara bersama-sama berkorelasi positif dengan self-disclosure (R = 0.613, F = 22.247, p < 0.01). Artinya secara spesifik, trait kepribadian openness to experience memiliki hubungan positif dengan self-disclosure (R = 0.548, p < 0.01, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 17,9%), dan intiate friendship juga berkorelasi positif dengan self-disclosure (R = 0.557, p < 0.01, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 19.6%). Kata Kunci: Self-Disclosure, Trait Kepribadian Openness To Experience, Intimate Friendship. ABSTRACT Online dating app has become an alternative way to find a partner besides face-to-face dating. Online dating apps is an activity where individuals use the internet, such as websites or online applications, to seek romantic partners. Factors that can influence self disclosure include the personality trait of openness to experience and intimate friendship. This study aims to determine whether the personality trait of openness to experience and intimate friendship are related to self-disclosure in early adults using online dating apps. Participants in this study were obtained through purposive sampling, and a total of 77 early adults were recruited. The data collection technique used three scales: the self-disclosure scale (α= 0.942), the personality trait openness to experience scale (α= 0.945), and the intimate friendship scale (α= 0.915). Data analysis in this study employed multiple regression analysis using JASP software version 0.18.3.0. The results of the study showed that the personality trait of openness to experience and intimate friendship together positively correlated with self-disclosure (R = 0.613, F = 22.247, p < 0.01). Specifically, the personality trait of openness to experience had a positive relationship with self-disclosure (R = 0.548, p < 0.01, with an effective contribution of 17.9%), and intimate friendship also positively correlated with self-disclosure (R = 0.557, p < 0.01, with an effective contribution of 19.6%).
