Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia terhambat oleh masalah kemiskinan. Indonesia adalah salah satu negara berkembang terbesar di dunia, dan kemiskinan merupakan salah satu permasalahan terbesar di Indonesia. Semua negara masih mencari solusi terhadap masalah kemiskinan di negaranya, begitu pula Indonesia. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin besar derajat kesenjangan gender, semakin rendah PDRB dan semakin buruk tingkat kesehatan dapat memperburuk tingkat kemiskinan di suatu wilayah. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh ketimpangan gender, gross regional domestic product dan tingkat kesehatan terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Pulau Sumatera. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pulau Sumatera. Sampel pada penelitian ini ada 5 Provinsi di Pulau Sumatera yaitu Lampung, Sumatera Selatan, Sumatera Utara, Aceh, dan Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan program Eviews 10 sebagai alat dalam menganalisis data. Berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi secara simultan (uji F), diketahui bahwa nilai Prob (F-Statistic) bernilai 0.040999 yang berarti bahwa variabel independen ketimpangan gender, gross regional domestic product, dan tingkat kesehatan secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi variabel kemiskinan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial ketimpangan gender berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan pada pulau sumatera, gross regional domestic product tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemiskinan pada pulau sumatera, tingkat kesehatan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan pada pulau sumatera. Kata Kunci : Ketimpangan gender, pdrb, tingkat kesehatan, kemiskinan. ABSTRACT Economic development in Indonesia is hampered by poverty. Indonesia is one of the largest developing countries in the world, and poverty is one of the biggest problems in Indonesia. All countries are still looking for solutions to the problem of poverty in their countries, and Indonesia is no exception. The problem of this research is that the greater the degree of gender inequality, the lower the GRDP and the worse the level of health can worsen the poverty level in a region. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of gender inequality, gross regional domestic product and health level on poverty in Sumatra Island Province. This type of research includes quantitative research with this type of research is associative causal research. The population in this study is the island of Sumatra. The sample in this study were 5 provinces on the island of Sumatra, namely Lampung, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Aceh, and Riau. This study uses the Eviews 10 program as a tool in analyzing data. Based on the results of the simultaneous significance test (F test), it is known that the Prob (F-Statistic) value is 0.040999, which means that the independent variables of gender inequality, gross regional domestic product, and health level jointly affect the poverty variable. The results of this study indicate that partially gender inequality has a negative and significant effect on poverty on the island of Sumatra, gross regional domestic product has no effect on poverty on the island of Sumatra, health levels have a negative and significant effect on poverty on the island of Sumatra.
