Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen (quasi experimental) dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 59 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Simple Random Sampling ( sampel acak) pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV D sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar matematika, sedangkan kelas IV C menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT (Numbered Heads Together) dalam pembelajaran. Sampel terdiri dari 30 peserta didik untuk kelas IV D dan 29 peserta didik untuk kelas C. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t (Independent Sample T-Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif talking stick, dengan hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan rata-rata nilai posttest untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 78 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 74. Adapun uji hipotesis menggunakan uji -t atau Independet Sample T-Test terdapat hasil Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,021 Nilai Sig (2-tailed) ini < α = (0,05). Hal ini berarti menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai posttest yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Matematika, Talking Stick. iv ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of using the talking stick type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. The method in this research is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest posttest control group research design. The population of this study was all class IV students, totaling 59 students. The sampling technique in this study used Simple Random Sampling (random sample) in this study, namely class IV D as an experimental class using the talking stick type cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes, while class IV C used the NHT (Numbered Heads Together) learning model in learning. The sample consisted of 30 students for class IV D and 29 students for class C. The data analysis technique used a normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, a homogeneity test, and a hypothesis test using the t-test (Independent Sample T-Test). The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes after using the talking stick cooperative learning model, with student learning outcomes based on the average posttest score for the experimental class of 78 and the control class of 74. The hypothesis test using the t�test or Independent Sample T-Test showed a Sig (2-tailed) result of 0.021. This Sig (2-tailed) value < α = (0.05). This means that there is a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental class and the control class. It can be concluded that there is an effect of using the talking stick type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Bandar Lampung.
