Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang peneliti lakukan di SDN 1 Pardasuka Kabupaten Pringsewu. Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini proses pembelajaran dilakukan selama ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural tetapi ternyata masih belum maksimal dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Pendidik hanya berdasarkan buku pelajaran, mendengarkan penjelasan pendidik, dan pembelajaran juga dilakukan secara terpisah-pisah yakni, pembelajaran menulis dipidahkan dengan pembelajaran membaca atau sebaliknya. Oleh karena itu perlu diterapkan pendekatan whole langugae sebagai salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak terpisah-pisah antara menulis, membaca, menyimak, dan berbicara. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan terkait penggunaan Pendekatan Whole Language Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas 5 SDN 1 Pardasuka Kabupaten Pringsewu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dan jenis eksperimennya yaitu Quasi Experimental Desain. Desain Quasi Experimental yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design, yaitu desain yang memberikan pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan, serta posttest sesudah dikenakan perlakuan di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Pardasuka Kabupaten Pringsewu. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Di mana kelas eksperimen tersebut adalah kelas V A dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah kelas V B. Dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah peneliti lakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pretest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 52,75 dan nilai posttest 78,21 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas kontrol dari rata-rata nilai pretest 53,32 dan nilai posttest 77,06. Hasil penelitian menunjukan juga bahwa Uji-T melalui aplikasi SPSS V 25 Windows diperoleh nilai sig < 0,05 (5%) pada sig (2-tailed) diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 (5%) dari jumlah 24 peserta didik. Dari kedua nilai tersebut terdapat perubahan nilai dari sebelum di beri perlakuan dengan sesudah diberi perlakuan. The problem behind this study is that the learning process has been carried out so far using a structural approach but it turns out that it is still not optimal in learning Indonesian. Educators are only based on textbooks, listening to the educator's explanations, and learning is also carried out separately, namely, learning to write is separated from learning to read or vice versa. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the whole langugae approach as one of the learning approaches that is not separate between writing, reading, listening, and speaking. This study aims to determine the significant influence related to the use of the Whole Language Approach on the learning outcomes of students in Indonesian subjects grade 5 SDN 1 Pardasuka, Pringsewu Regency. This research is a quantitative research experiment and the type of experiment is Quasi Experimental Design. The Quasi Experimental design used in this study is a pretest posttest Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design, which is a design that provides a pretest before being treated, and a posttest after being subjected to treatment in the experimental class and kontrol class. This research was carried out at SDN 1 Pardasuka, Pringsewu Regency. Sampling in this study consisted of two class groups, namely the experimental class and the kontrol class. Where the experimental class is class V A and for the kontrol class is class V B. With the technique of taking data using a test. Based on the results of the research that the researcher has conducted, it can be concluded that there is an influence on learning outcomes, which can be seen from the average pretest score in the experimental class, which is 52.75 and the posttest score of 78.21, which is higher than the learning outcomes of students in the kontrol class from the average pretest score of 53.32 and the posttest score of 77.06. The results of the study also showed that the T-Test through the SPSS Statistic V 25 Windows application obtained a sig value of < 0.05 (5%) in the sig (2-tailed) obtained 0.000 < 0.05 (5%) from a total of 24 students.
