Abstract

ABSTRAK Perbankan syariah merupakan lembaga keuangan yang berfungsi sebagai salah satu lembaga intermediasi serta lembaga penyeimbang dalam berbagai sektor perekonomian di Indonesia. Hadirnya Bank Syariah Indonesia merupakan inovasi baru bagi kekuatan ekonomi dan keuangan syariah global. Bank Syariah Indonesia merupakan hasil penggabungan dari 3 bank syariah BUMN diantaranya PT BRI Syariah, PT BNI Syariah, dan PT Bank Syariah Mandiri. Tujuan utama dari merger ini agar dapat membantu perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasionalnya. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggabungkan sumber daya, proses, dan teknologi dari kedua perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non parametrik Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi dan Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) untuk mengetahui nilai produktivitas. Selanjutnya, uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah data terdistribusi secara normal. Dan uji Mann Whitney U-Test digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat signifikansi antara efisiensi dan produktivitas Bank Syariah Indonesia sebelum dan setelah merger. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Laporan Keuangan Bank BRI Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah, dan Bank Syariah Mandiri periode 2019-2020, serta Laporan Keuangan Bank Syariah Indonesia periode 2021- 2022. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari uji beda Mann Whitney U-Test, perbandingan tingkat efisiensi Bank Syariah Indonesia sebelum dan setelah merger menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Adapun tingkat produktivitas Bank Syariah Indonesia sebelum dan setelah merger dilihar dari hasil uji beda Mann Whitney U-Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. ABSTRACK Islamic banking is a financial institution that functions as an intermediary institution and a balancing institution in various economic sectors in Indonesia. The presence of Bank Syariah Indonesia is a new innovation for the strength of the global Islamic economy and finance. Bank Syariah Indonesia is the result of a merger of 3 state-owned Islamic banks, including PT BRI Syariah, PT BNI Syariah, and PT Bank Syariah Mandiri. The main purpose of this merger is to help companies improve their operational efficiency. This can be done by combining resources, processes, and technologies from both companies. This study uses the non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method to determine the level of efficiency and the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) to determine the productivity value. Furthermore, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test is used to determine whether the data is normally distributed. And the Mann Whitney U-Test is used to determine the level of significance between the efficiency and productivity of Bank Syariah Indonesia before and after the merger. The objects of this study are the Financial Reports of Bank BRI Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah, and Bank Syariah Mandiri for the period 2019-2020, as well as the Financial Report of Bank Syariah Indonesia for the period 2021-2022. This study shows that the results of the Mann Whitney U-Test difference test, a comparison of the efficiency level of Bank Syariah Indonesia before and after the merger shows a significant difference. The level of productivity of Bank Syariah Indonesia before and after the merger is seen from the results of the Mann Whitney U-Test difference test showing that there is no significant difference.
