Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, hal ini disebabkan karena masih kurangnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Pair Check terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas V di SDN 21 Muara Padang Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen design teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling dengan bentuk desainnya yaitu posttes only control group. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas Eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Pair Check. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes, sebelum tes diberikan kepada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen data terlebih dahulu diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya beda. Setelah memperoleh instrumen yang valid maka instrumen tersebut dilakukan analisis uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, kemudian setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat tersebut maka data dianalisis menggunakan Uji-T. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Pair check dalam perhitungan Uji-t tindependen didapatkan sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 yang artinya nilai sig (2-tailed) <0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Pair Check terhdap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas V SDN 21 Muara Padang Kabupaten Banyuasin. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Pair Check, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dan Kolaborasi ii ABSTRACK This research is motivated by the low critical thinking and collaboration skills of students in Indonesian language subjects, this is due to the lack of innovation in learning. Therefore, a learning model is needed that can increase students' learning motivation. This research aims to determine the effect of the Pair Check learning model on students' critical thinking and collaboration skills in class V Indonesian language subjects at SDN 21 Muara Padang, Banyuasin Regency. This research is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental design method. The sampling technique used is random sampling with the design form being posttest only control group. This research sample consists of two classes, namely the control class using the Problem Based Learning learning model and the Experimental class using the Pair Check learning model. The data collection technique uses a test, before the test is given to the control class and experimental class the data is first tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiability. After obtaining a valid instrument, the instrument is subjected to prerequisite test analysis, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, then after fulfilling the prerequisite tests, the data is analyzed using the T-test. The results of the hypothesis test show that the Pair check learning model in the calculation of the independent t-test obtained a sig (2-tailed) of 0.000, which means the sig (2-tailed) value is <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This research found that there was an influence of the Pair Check learning model on students' critical thinking and collaboration skills in class V Indonesian language subjects at SDN 21 Muara Padang, Banyuasin Regency.
