Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di sekolah yaitu proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung selama ini masih kurangnya inovasi dan memberikan kesempatan untuk peserta didik aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Kelas VI MI Nurul Muhajirin. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Kelas VI MI Nurul Muhajirin?” Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis Quasy Eksperimen Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data tes dan dokumentasi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi sampel kelas eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIA yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik, sedangkan kelas yang terpilih sebagai kelas kontrol adalah kelas VIB dengan jumlah 25 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik Purposive Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan instrument penilaian berupa tes dengan soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu: uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dapat dilihat dari nilai pemahaman konsep matematika siswa Kelas VI. Pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas eksperimen didapatkan nilai rata rata 87, sedangkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas kontrol didapatkan nilai rata-rata 54. Menurut hasil penelitian diperoleh signifikasi pemahaman konsep matematika siswa menunjukkan 0,000 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran role playing dan metode konvesional. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran role playing berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa Kelas VI MI Nurul Muhajirin Lampung Utara. This study aims to determine the effect of the Role Playing learning model on Understanding Mathematical Concepts of Class VI MI Nurul Muhajirin. The formulation of the problem in this study is “Is there an effect of the Role Playing learning model on Understanding Mathematical Concepts of Grade VI MI Nurul Muhajirin?” This research is a quantitative research type Quasy Experiment Design. This study uses test data collection techniques and documentation. The design used in this research is Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The sample population of the experimental class in this study was class VIA, totaling 26 students, while the class selected as the control class was class VIB with 25 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. In this study, researchers used an assessment instrument in the form of a test with multiple choice questions. The data analysis techniques used are: normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen from the value of understanding the mathematical concepts of Class VI students. The understanding of mathematical concepts of experimental class students obtained an average value of 87, while the understanding of mathematical concepts of control class students obtained an average value of 54. According to the results of the study, the significance of students' understanding of mathematical concepts shows 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in the problem solving ability of students using the role playing learning model and conventional methods. So it can be said that the role playing learning model affects the understanding of mathematical concepts of students in Class VI MI Nurul Muhajirin North Lampung.
