Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertanian diIndonesia menghasilkan berbagai jenis tumbuhan seperti makanan pokok nasi, jagung dan sayuran. Sayuran sendiri merupakan sumber vitamin, serat dan mineral yang dibutuhkan tubuh. Sayuran yang banyak mengandung vitamin, serat dan mineral salah satunya yaitu tanaman cabai. Produktivitas cabai di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, salah satu faktor rendahya kesuburan tanah akibat penggunaan pupuk an organik. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah alternatif pupuk organik yang didapatkan dari limbah rumah tangga seperti limbah nasi dan air endapan kolam ikan lele yang dapat didaur ulang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada dua tempat yaitu dilahan keluarga yang berada di Desa Bumi Nabung Kecamatan Abung Barat Kabupaten Lampung Utara. dan uji kandungan pupuk dilakukan di Laboratorium Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah pupuk organik cair nasi basi (faktor M) dan pupuk organik cair endapan kolam lele (faktor N). Perlakuan POC nasi basi terdiri atas 3 taraf perlakuan dan POC endapan kolam lele terdiri atas 3 taraf perlakuan sehingga terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan dan dengan kontrol negatif 3 pengulangan maka ada 30 unit percobaan. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji anova dengan uji lanjutan BNT menggunakan taraf signifikan sebesar 5%. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa penggunaan pupuk organik cair nasi basi dan endapan ikan lele pada pertambahan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, luas daun, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman terbaik yang diberikan POC M3N3 dengan dosis 300 ml POC nasi basi + 300 ml POC endapan ikan lele /1 liter air. Kata Kunci: Cabai, Endapan Kolam, Nasi Basi iii ABSTRACT Agriculture in Indonesia produces various types of plants such as staple foods such as rice, corn and vegetables. Vegetables themselves are a source of vitamins, fiber and minerals needed by the body. Vegetables that contain a lot of vitamins, fiber and minerals include chili plants. Chili productivity in Indonesia is still relatively low, one of the factors is low soil fertility due to the use of inorganic fertilizers. Therefore, an alternative organic fertilizer was made which was obtained from household waste such as rice waste and recycled catfish pond sediment water. This research was conducted in two places, namely on family land in Bumi Nabung Village, Abung Barat District, North Lampung Regency. and fertilizer content tests were carried out at the Lampung State Polytechnic Laboratory. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors, the first factor was stale rice liquid organic fertilizer (factor M) and catfish pond sediment liquid organic fertilizer (factor N). The stale rice POC treatment consisted of 3 treatment levels and the catfish pond sediment POC consisted of 3 treatment levels so that there were 9 treatment combinations with 3 repetitions and with 3 repetitions of negative control, so there were 30 experimental units. Data analysis was conducted using ANOVA test with BNT follow-up test using a significance level of 5%. The results of the study stated that the use of liquid organic fertilizer from stale rice and catfish sediment on the increase in plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, wet weight and dry weight of the best plants given POC M3N3 with a dose of 300 ml of stale rice POC + 300 ml of catfish sediment POC / 1 liter of water.
