Abstract
ABSTRAK Membaca pemahaman adalah memahami informasi secara langsung yang ada dalam teks bacaan dan memahami informasi yang tidak secara langsung dalam teks. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik masih tergolong rendah, hal ini disebabkan karna penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi dan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia peserta didik masih terfokus pada satu arah sehingga siswa masih kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental dengan Desain Posttes-Only Contol Group. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV MIN 3 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling. Sampel yang digunakan ialah kelas IVA berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai control dan kelas IVB berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi aku sudah besar. Membaca pemahaman siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) lebih baik dibandingkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran SQ3R, hal tersebut dikarenakan tahapan diskusi kelompok sangat terstruktur dapat memotivasi dan dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dibandingkan pembelajaran secara individu. The research results obtained it can be concluded that there is a large influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on reading comprehension skills in Indonesian subjects in the material I have . Students' reading comprehension using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model is better than students' reading comprehension using the SQ3R learning model, this is because the group discussion stages are very structured which can motivate and make learning more interesting than individual learning.
