Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Terhadap Kemampuan Argumentasi Dan Sikap Ilmiah Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Oleh Winda Riyana Dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan argumentasi dan sikap ilmiah siswa peserta didik yang masih tergolong rendah. Dengan demikian dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) terhadap kemampuan argumentasi dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Quasy Eksperiment. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan soal uraian dengan materi sistem ekskresi manusia dan dengan nontes yaitu angket. Sampel pada penelitian terdiri atas kelas eksperiment dan kelas control yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini diambil menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) terhadap kemampuan argumentasi dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Perbedaan kemampuan argumentasi kelas eksperiment 86% dan kelas control 74% sedangkan untuk sikap ilmiah siswa kelas eksperiment 85% dan kelas control 78%. Adanya pengaruh tersebut juga dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis yang memperoleh 0.000 < 0.05 dengan demikian penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dan dapat menjawab rumusan masalah yang sudah ditentukan. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Argumentasi, Sikap Ilmiah, CIRC iii ABSTRACT The Influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (Circ) Learning Model on Students' Argumentation Ability and Scientific Attitudes in Biology Subjects By Winda Riyana The background is that students' argumentative abilities and scientific attitudes are still relatively low. Thus, research was carried out which aimed to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' argumentation abilities and scientific attitudes in biology subjects. This research is quantitative research using the Quasy Experiment method. The research instrument used was a test with descriptive questions on the human excretory system and a non-test, namely a questionnaire. The sample in the study consisted of an experimental class and a control class, each consisting of 30 students. The samples in this study were taken using the Simple Random Sampling Technique. The results of this research are that there is an influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' argumentation abilities and scientific attitudes. The difference in the argumentation ability of the experimental class was 86% and the control class was 74%, while the scientific attitude of the experimental class students was 85% and the control class was 78%. The existence of this influence is also proven by hypothesis testing which obtained 0.000 < 0.05, thus this research can be said to be successful and can answer the problem formulation that has been determined.
